Your partner type depends on how you work with Signable and who owns the end-customer relationship. Use the table below to find the type that best matches your organisation.
| If you | Partner type | Customer relationship |
|---|---|---|
| Embed Signable in your software and sell it as a feature | Reseller Partner | You set prices, bill customers, and provide support |
| Introduce customers to Signable | Referral Partner | Signable contracts with, bills, and supports the customer |
| Build and manage an integration between Signable and another platform | Systems Integrator | Signable contracts with, bills, and supports the customer |
You can hold more than one type. Systems Integrators can also join the referral scheme under a separate agreement.
| Feature | Reseller | Referral | Systems Integrator |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bills the end customer | Partner | Signable | Signable |
| Supports the end customer | Partner | Signable | Signable |
| Who sets pricing | Partner | Signable | Signable |
| Commercial benefit | Reseller margin | 10% (first year only) | None* |
| Sub-accounts | Yes | No | No |
* Unless the integrator also holds a Referral Partner agreement.
A Reseller Partner integrates Signable into their own software and sells it to their customers as an e-signature feature. The partner owns the commercial relationship, and the feature can carry the partner's branding or openly attribute Signable.
- The partner embeds Signable in their software using the API.
- Signable provisions each of the partner's customers as a sub-account. There is no limit on the number of sub-accounts, and each one carries individual branding, so signature request emails and signing pages render with the customer's own branding.
- The partner sets pricing, bills their customers, and provides all customer support.
- Signable invoices the partner in arrears at the end of each billing period for aggregate usage across all sub-accounts.
A CRM lets its customers send onboarding documents for signature from within the CRM and charges them for that capability.
To apply, see Partner sign up.
For implementation steps, see Getting started.
A Referral Partner introduces customers to Signable and takes no part in the resulting contract. Referred customers become standard Signable customers, and Signable bills and supports them directly.
The partner receives a 10% commission when a referred customer signs up for a paid plan. Commission is paid for up to one year from the customer’s signup date.
A management software vendor recommends Signable to its customers, who continue with Signable independently, and takes no part in billing them for Signable usage.
To apply, see Join the referral program.
A Systems Integrator builds and maintains the integration between Signable and another platform, either their own or a customer's. The end customer contracts with Signable directly, so Signable bills and supports them.
- The partner can recommend Signable as part of a wider technology stack.
- The partner receives no commission unless they also hold a Referral Partner agreement, which is a separate commercial arrangement.
A software house builds bespoke systems for its clients and offers e-signature as part of the delivered solution. The integrator can work purely in that type, or hold a Referral Partner agreement alongside the integration work.
