You can now download files through dedicated endpoints using your API key. Each download request uses standard API [authentication](/authentication), giving you a consistent way to retrieve:

- [Original documents](/openapi/downloads/downloadoriginaldocument)
- [Templates](/openapi/downloads/downloadtemplate)
- [Upload field files](/openapi/downloads/downloadfieldupload)

### Deprecated fields

The following download URL fields are now deprecated. Use the corresponding endpoint to download each file:

Customers joining from **30 September 2026** must use the download endpoints. The deprecated fields are not available to these customers.

Existing customers can continue using the deprecated fields, with no migration deadline currently set. We will introduce API versioning first so you can migrate your integration before support for these fields ends.
